We like to use a "Three-legged Stool Analogy" to help people
understand Badger's team strategy for success including the
support or technical "ring".
The three legged stool is unique in that it has a special design
feature. This feature allows the object to be supported on an
"unleveled" surface. That's why farmers originally used the
three-legged stools to milk their cows.

We believe successful in-situ injection projects (the object) sit at
the top of the three legged stool and are fundamentally supported by
three key legs… Engineering Firms (Partners), Chemical Suppliers
(Sponsors) and Subcontract Implementation Groups (Providers).
It's about the dynamic integrated nature of these three legs and how
they form the character and culture of most organizations or
programs. All three
play an integral part in the performance of an organization.
For instance, having a state-of-the-art equipment and the latest
technology won't guarantee success. Partners (L1), Sponsors
(L2) and Provider (L3) legs will need to be utilized with the proper systems and processes
managed by forward thinking and motivated people to fully realize
success. Organizational excellence and performance is based on how
well continuous improvement is applied to all three legs. Many times
some
organizations find themselves struggling with a feeling that one or
two of the legs are getting pulled apart or may even collapse.
Some organizations will blame their failure on the "unleveled"
surface they find themselves on, which is commonly referred to as
the lack of "Market Support." But in reality, we're all on the
same surface and it's up to all of us to keep things together, in balance,
moving forward and provide better solutions.
Badger was discovered and being continually developed utilizing this simple
analogy
and is providing a support ring between these three legs. Some would
consider this a EPA "Triad" approach, except this is on a industry
wide scale.
